The freedom to roam

The freedom to roam is a huge part of everyday life in the Swedish Lapland. Stated in Swedish law. And it works both ways. You have to pay respect to the environment. Being humble and keeping your distance. Don’t disturb wildlife or locals. Don't destroy things. When practiced with respect, it’s up to everybody to explore.

Go hike, paddle a canoe, pick berries and set up camp for the night.
