The Adventure Forest
SkellefteåThe Adventure Forest at Vitberget in Skellefteå is an outdoor area that features two short nature trails – perfect for both children and adults who want to explore nature and learn more about wildlife.
The Little Nature Trail in the Adventure Forest is a pleasant path suitable for all ages. Along the 400-meter trail, marked with colorful stones, you'll discover fun and educational information about nature and some of our most common plants and animals. As you follow the trail, you’ll come across wooden figures of animals such as moose, marten, and a woodpecker. Each figure has an information sign with text in both Swedish and English.
The Get Lost Trail, which runs parallel to the Little Nature Trail, is an educational path developed by the Swedish Civil Protection Association. It is designed to teach children how to act if they get lost in the forest, through the story of a boy named Vilse and informative child-friendly signs along the way.
