Cultural evening in Morö Backe Church

Welcome to Morö Backe Church on Friday, April 4, for a full evening of song, music, and refreshments in support of the Church of Sweden’s international work!

In the church


6:00 PM – Bälgadraget
Bälgadraget performs music arranged for accordion and accompaniment. Their repertoire is broad, spanning multiple musical styles.

7:00 PM – Elin Belani and JoRoJo Trio
Elin, a church musician in Bergsbykyrkan, sings tonight together with JoRoJo Trio:
Johan Strömberg – drums
Robin Jonsson – double bass
Jonas Gustafsson Nolander – guitar
Expect a mix of Swedish jazz and interpretations of Nino Ramsby, Barbro Hörberg, and Lisa Nilsson.

8:00 PM – Karins Kapell
This Skellefteå-based band presents musical settings of poems by Karin Boye, offering a blend of delicate, raw, and unexpected arrangements featuring Linnea Stenberg, Olle Holmström, Rasmus Botmar Carlström, and Nils Frändén.

9:00 PM – Mattias Kågström
Known both as an actor and musician from many Västerbotten Theatre productions, Mattias is also a sought-after pianist in various musical constellations. Tonight, he performs solo, presenting a meditative and tranquil program of songs and piano music.

6:30 PM – Jan Olof Kronqvist
Troubadour-style music, including songs by Dan Andersson.

7:30 PM – Jörgen Klingstedt
Usually seen as a priest at Morö Backe Church, Jörgen also enjoys performing music with his guitar when inspiration strikes. Expect a mix of original songs and personal favorites.

8:30 PM – Amanda Dahlström
A church musician at Morö Backe Church, Amanda will share music close to her heart.

This cultural evening supports Act Church of Sweden’s international Lenten fundraising campaign. Café service available. Free admission.
