DALMATIAN:

Dalmatian came in like a fresh storm over Sweden indie dance floors with the debut single ''Festival'' and the following debut album ''Ansiktet i gruset'' last year. P3 played, GAFFA praised, and the band soon played on indie stages all over Sweden. Even though the band has barely turned one year old, they are already up to date with a new album that will be released this fall. The first single ''Minns det som igår'' testifies that the band has taken another step forward and sounds broader and bigger than ever.

If you have witnessed Dalmatin on a live stage, you know that the show consists of a rarely seen energy, singing, dancing and a live band that sounds tighter than Lenny Kravitz's leather pants at Gröna Lund. With the new album, the band has distilled the essence of a perfect pop epic, somewhere between the euphoric and the melancholic. The band themselves call it arena rock.
