At Jörn's Library, you can see ten authors divided into six author talks shown on our projector screen during the spring of 2025, via Library Play, which is a streaming service from Stockholm City Library. See below.
The author talks are recorded from Malmö City Library and today you will meet Author Lena Andersson in conversation with Sonja Schwarzenberger. The conversation is held in Swedish.
Lena Andersson debuted in 1999 and had her big public breakthrough in 2013–14 with her two novels about Ester Nilsson and her love life: “Egenmäktigt förfasning” and “Utan personlig ansvar”. The books depict masculinity/femininity when it comes to relationships and gave rise to many discussions about the man of culture.
The books about Ester Nilsson were followed by a trilogy about the Swedish public home, “Sveas son”, “Dottern” and “Koryféer”. Her previous book was the portrayal of relationships “Studie i mänskligt beteende”. Now this spring Lena Andersson returns to Ester Nilsson in her new novel "Män och kvinnor".
