On Wednesday, April 9, the Kartografiska Sällskapet and Skellefteå Municipality invite the public to open lectures in Kulturtrappan at Sara Kulturhus. Here, experts will discuss how maps and geodata shape our future—from preserving green areas and tracking algal blooms with AI to understanding why Skellefteå's streets are named the way they are.
