Sweden's biggest and most beloved musical show is back! In the fall of 2025, From Broadway to Duvemåla embarks on a new tour across Sweden for the ninth year in a row. With an updated performance filled with timeless classics and modern favorites from the world’s most cherished musicals, an evening of pure musical magic is promised!
On stage, audiences will experience a unique combination of seasoned stars and exciting newcomers – all belonging to the absolute elite of the musical theater world, both in Sweden and internationally.
Among this year's artists, we once again see musical star and TikTok sensation Martin Redhe Nord, who has become one of Sweden’s most beloved musical performers in recent years. Joining him is the charismatic and versatile Malena Tuvung, a veteran in this context with an impressive career on the musical stage.
This year's tour also features several exciting newcomers to From Broadway to Duvemåla. Philip Jalmelid, one of Sweden's most acclaimed musical artists, makes his debut, bringing with him experiences from leading roles in major productions such as As It Is in Heaven, Les Misérables, and Chess. We also welcome the internationally renowned Judith Caspari, one of Germany's biggest musical stars, known from Wicked, West Side Story, and Tarzan. Accompanying her on stage is Alma Bengtsson, one of Sweden's most promising young musical talents, who has already made her mark in productions such as Sweeney Todd and Dear Evan Hansen.
The show offers a selection of the best songs from iconic musicals such as Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Kristina från Duvemåla, Wicked, West Side Story, and many more. The audience can expect everything from grand ensemble numbers to moving solos – a musical journey that touches, inspires, and enchants.
Since its premiere in 2016, From Broadway to Duvemåla has charmed and moved audiences across Sweden with its unique blend of spectacular musical numbers, emotional interpretations, and outstanding stage performances. Year after year, the show has evolved and grown, and the 2025 edition looks set to be the most spectacular yet.

ARTISTS
Martin Redhe Nord
Martin Redhe Nord is the musical artist who became a social media sensation during the pandemic with his hilarious and spot-on clips about everything from the entertainment industry to everyday problems. Over the years, he has starred in musicals such as Mamma Mia!, Cats, High School Musical, West Side Story, Book of Mormon, The Witches of Eastwick, and Kristina från Duvemåla. His big breakthrough came in 2018 when he played Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Gothenburg Opera. More recently, Martin has starred in Next to Normal, 9 to 5, and Kinky Boots at Uppsala City Theatre, as well as the role of the evil headmaster Trunchbull in Matilda the Musical at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm. Martin is also known to TV audiences from popular shows like Så ska det låta and Doobidoo.
Malena Tuvung
Malena Tuvung is a renowned singer and musical artist who has performed as both a dancer and singer in everything from cabaret shows to musicals and operas. She has appeared in musical productions such as Fame, Grease, Jekyll & Hyde, My Fair Lady, Mary Poppins, Romeo & Juliet, West Side Story, and Jesus Christ Superstar. In 2009, she played the lead role of Grizabella in Cats at Cirkus in Stockholm, performing one of musical theater’s greatest hits of all time, "Memory" – a song she also performed on Allsång på Skansen. Malena has been called Sweden’s answer to Barbra Streisand and has toured with her own solo show Evergreen - A Tribute to Barbra Streisand. Besides her participation in From Broadway to Duvemåla, Malena is also starring as Svetlana in Chess in Concert at Dalhalla.
Philip Jalmelid
Philip Jalmelid is a well-established musical artist and actor who has performed on most of Sweden's major stages. He has played numerous leading roles at Malmö Opera in musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Misérables, and Miss Saigon. He also portrayed Tony in West Side Story at Norrlandsoperan, earned acclaim as Anatoly in Chess at Gothenburg Opera, and appeared in Hair at Stockholm City Theatre as well as Sunset Boulevard and Les Misérables at Wermland Opera. More recently, Philip achieved great success as the conductor Daniel Daréus in the critically acclaimed musical As It Is in Heaven at the Oscar Theatre and in Anastasia at Malmö Opera. This summer, he returns to his signature role as Anatoly in Chess in Concert at Dalhalla.
Judith Caspari
Judith Caspari is one of Germany's biggest musical stars, having played leading roles in some of the world’s most famous musicals. Her big breakthrough came in 2018 when she starred in the German premiere of the Broadway musical Anastasia. Since then, she has played Glinda in Wicked at Theater Neue Flora in Hamburg, Maria in West Side Story, and Natalie in Next to Normal at Staatstheater Kassel. In 2022 and 2024, Judith appeared in the German arena tour Disney in Concert, and most recently, she played Jane in Disney's Tarzan at Stage Palladium Theatre in Stuttgart. Beyond her musical career, Judith has also starred in major theater productions in Germany and released her own album, With Love.
Alma Bengtsson
Alma Bengtsson is a musical artist and actress from Helsingborg who has quickly established herself in the Swedish musical scene through participation in various productions around the country. She has performed in several major successes, including Sweeney Todd, Moon Over Rosendal, Anna & Jacob Dubbe, and Maratondansen. Her portrayal of the soldier Paul Bäumer in All Quiet on the Western Front was highly praised by audiences and critics alike. In 2023, Alma starred in the world premiere of Alla skriker ingen hör at Kulturhuset Spira in Jönköping. In spring 2025, she will appear as Alana Beck in the hit musical Dear Evan Hansen at Intiman in Stockholm. With her powerful voice and stage presence, Alma is definitely a musical artist to watch!
