Join us on a stormy journey to a small village where an intense struggle for survival, identity and justice takes place, in the heart of Sápmi.
Eira has big dreams, the wind farm is just the beginning of the golden age for the small municipality. With her she has Fritz, a historian and law-abiding bureaucrat. Joavnna is a reindeer herder who is stuck in an everyday life full of opposition, discrimination and a strong sense of inadequacy.
When Fritz begins to understand the consequences of what is about to happen, he must act. Together with Joavnna they make a plan to stop the wind farm. But nothing goes as planned… Will they be able to save anything from the storm they have created, or will everything be lost in the pursuit of justice and identity?
