ARTIST TALK: AV VOICE FOR THEATRE AND CULTURE IN PALESTINE
Marina and Nicola will speak about making work and running a theatre in the context of occupation, and explain som of the circumstances under wich their company work. They will also talk about the current situation in Palestine and the vital role of theatre in helping children young people, and communities in overcoming trauma.
Al Harah Theatre is based in Beit Jala in the West Bank, Palestine.
Marina Barham is the inspiring and long established Palestinian theatre maker and General Director of Al Harah Theater. Nicola Zreineh is a deputy, artist and actor at Al Harah Theatre. In English
