Walpurgis Night

Spring is approaching, and in many places, celebrations with children's activities, speeches, music, and refreshments are being organized! Here, we list the locations and times when May bonfires will be lit.

Skråmträsk Chapel
Time: 18:00–20:30
At 18:00, an outdoor track around the chapel. At 18:30, an indoor devotional service with Karin Lindmark. Refreshments and a lottery. Around 19:45, the bonfire is lit. Around 20:30, spring speech by Anna Antonsson.

Anderstorp Church
Time: 18:00–21:00
Celebrate the arrival of spring outside the church with a spring speech by Tage Andersson and a choir singing at 18:00. The bonfire will be lit afterward. Small fires for grilling sausages, coffee service, warm sandwiches, and outdoor activities are arranged by Solsidan Youth Center and the Church of Sweden.

Parish Hall Prästbordet
Time: 18:00–21:00
We celebrate spring with the Church of Sweden. At 18:00, there is a weekday mass in Landskyrkan. At 18:30, the bonfire is lit. At 19:00, spring speech by Anna From Lindqvist and a choir singing. At 20:00, spring organ music with Anders Lindberg. "Sk Lejon J 20" will be selling hot dogs and coffee during the evening.

Ersmark Church
Time: 18:30–19:30
Spring songs with the Motet Choir and Hilding Carlsson. Sing-along, spring speech, and coffee.

Bergsby Church
Time: 18:30–21:30
The scouts light the Valborg bonfire. Speech and choir singing. Children’s choirs perform in the church hall. Café service available.

Medle Chapel
Time: 19:30–21:00
Valborg celebration by the pond.

Sandfors Chapel
Time: 20:00–21:00
Valborg celebration with ÖKSM. The bonfire is lit at 20:00. Sale of Hot dogs, coffee, and cake. Devotional service.

Mobacken Church
Time: 20:00–22:00
We celebrate spring with a speech by Helena Renström, choir singing, bonfires, and activities for children. Café Mobacken is open 17:00–22:00, offering burgers and coffee.
